Being a university student, am i entitled to any benefits for medical/dental care?

As i am 19 and a student at university, am i entitled to any medical or dental benefits for treatment?
Well Ryder its not about getting a job, fulltime students work parttime as well as studying so we are a bit short on cash.

In general, no - not from the university.
Your fees cover tuition, not health care.
You should have purchased health insurance,

   In medical terms you shouldn't have to pay for perscriptions .. as for dental i dunno

   If you're in the US, some universities have health plans for students, but you have to pay for it.
   If your school has something like that, I'm sure they'll send you a brochure, or you could ask at one of the offices.

   In most cases your parents policy should have a rider for dependent full time students.

   Most universities have a "health" center where they have doctors, nurses, etc, to help you out when you get sick. It is like a very cheap health plan. They may even have dental and optical services a couple times a week.

   However you don't get this if your parents signed a waiver saying you will be covered by their insurance when you enrolled and paid your tuition fees. Check with the school to see what you can do and find out where their health center is.

   Even at Community Colleges, they have this.

   Well, this was all in California… btw.

   Through your university they have a health center, but no, there are no health or dental benefits from a university for those who attend classes.
