Getting a dentist to make a presentation at a preschool?

I work at a preschool/afterschool program for troubled kids and we want to have a dentist come in and make a presentation about dental health. I'm not sure what my first step is. I've looked at the ADA website and my local dental society website, but didn't find anything. Should I just ask my dentist to do it? Or is there some other way?

you can probably just call a dentist office in your area and tell them your situation. i'm sure they wouldn't mind. dentists usually have pretty lax schedules.

Call up your local dentist and ask if he/she would be willing to do it. Or you could do a bunch of researchand prepare a board and lbut some little stickers that say "BRUSHING IS FUN!!" or if you can purchase some cute teddy bear toothbrushes to make kids motivated!.

A first step might be asking parents if they are or anyone they are friends/relatives with are dentists or dental hygeinists. Parents like to be included.
