What courses would you take in college to become a dentist?

Hellllllllla questions for ya:
1. What courses should you take in college in order to get into dental school/to become a dentist?
2. How many years after high school does it take to become a dentist?
3. What is the average starting salary of a dentist?

1. You would take the required pre-dental classes:

2-4 semesters of biology (general, plant, animal, and genetics)
4 semesters of chemistry with labs (including organic chemistry)
1 semester of physics (optional)
1 semester of calculus

2. After high school you spend four years in college and then four years in dental school.

3. Average starting salary is greatly dependent upon your location, credentials, affiliation, and luck. Expect about $50,000 your first few years, possibly less. Dentists don't command extraordinary salaries and usually average about $135,000 (based on an average from a lot of different websites).
