What happens after the dentist takes my tooth out?

I need to know if there will be alot of pain after my bad tooth gets taken out by the dentist. I know that the dentist will give me anesthesia during the procedure, but what happens after the anesthesia wears off after the procedure has been done? What can I do to stop the pain?

Well i just had 5 baby teeth removed with out anaesthesia but I'm sure it won't hurt cause it didn't hurt me and my friend went under anaesthesia and she felt nothing after woulds it might hurt you a little after though. Just swallow panadol an hour after the removal and you should be just fine and the dentist will probably inject you with needles when your under anaesthesia anyway so you might be numb in the mouth for a while. My friend had adult teeth taken out, I wouldn't worry about it you should be just fine.

Ask for a drug called Tylox and demand it. Also follow the instructions they will give you or you may get infected.

depending on how infected your tooth is, there will be minimal pain, but take Motrin for it, or if there was an infection he may prescribe some pain meds.
